We have had an overload of family time in the past week and it’s been great! After spending the weekend up north with Andy’s family, my brother Marcus flew in from Colorado for my dad’s 60th birthday! We hadn’t seen him for a year, so it was great to finally be able to hang out! Unfortunately his wife had to stay home, but hopefully we’ll get to see her soon too.
So, my dad turned 60 and I decided we needed to throw him a party (of course!). My brother and his family came down and my mom came over too and everyone stayed the night Wednesday night! It was so fun to be able to hang out with family my for 2 straight days!!! My aunt was in town from North Carolina, so she came over for the party too.
We made lots of messes, did lots of dishes, ate LOTS of food (& dessert!), laughed a lot, and the kids played in the water pretty much non stop. It was a great time. Hopefully we can make it a family tradition!
