{The Pursley Family}

A sunny, warm(ish) day half way through November… we sure got lucky!  Miss Claire (Rapunzel’s owner) celebrated her birthday earlier in the day and then decided to spend the evening with me! 🙂  I love seeing parents with as much patience as these two!

Pursley family, it was a pleasure getting to know you.  You have three great kiddos, but I’m sure you didn’t need me to tell you that!!

{The Figel Five}

Meet the Figel Five as Corinna (mom) has lovingly labeled them!  What a wonderful, sweet, fantastic little group I had the pleasure of spending the evening with last night.  Those are three SUPER sweet girls!!  Corinna and I met through MOPS at Lake Center Bible Church in Portage.  It’s a great ministry that gives moms a chance spend a few hours a month enjoying the company of other moms.  If you’re a mom of a preschooler in the greater Kalamazoo area, you should definitely check it out!

Anyway, right after their youngest daughter Jozlin was born, Corinna was diagnosed with Postpartum Cardiomyopathy/Congestive Heart Failure.  She has been battling this disease for the past 10 months.  Without going into too much detail (and getting them wrong!),  I encourage you to follow her journey here.  She is going in for surgery next Thursday (November 17th) which will hopefully be the end of this long journey.  If you think of it, leave her a note of encouragement and more importantly say a prayer for her safety and for quick healing from this procedure!

Corinna and family, I had such a great time with you all last night.  It was so wonderful getting to know you all a little better and finding those fun it’s-a-small-world connections!  We will be praying for all of you in the upcoming weeks!!

{The French Family}

Meet the French Family.  Jon & my husband Andy grew up together.  It’s always fun to hear stories of them tooling around on the farm causing trouble.  Looks like Jon & Nicole might be in store for some of that trouble themselves.  Little Blake & Caden are two very active little guys and seem to have a lot of fun!  Blake always has a smile on his face and little Caden definitely know what he wants!

Jon & Nicole, it was fun spending a bit of your Saturday with you!  Thanks for sharing your kiddos with me! 🙂

{The Meyer Family}

Oh little Trevor.  This little guy gave me a workout.  He’s the exact same age as my Eli, so I felt right at home chasing him around the park.  He loves to laugh, play catch, search for acorns and he’s even quite ticklish!  Oh, and good luck trying to beat him in a foot race!

Lindsey & Brian,  it was a pleasure spending the evening with you guys!  You have such an adorable little boy.  These pictures make me smile – I hope they do the same for you!

{The Bent Family}

I love seeing big families.  That whole “All Because Two People Fell In Love” thing gets me every time.  It’s pretty amazing to think about how the world is a different place because of all of the family these two people created!  It was a pleasure spending a bit of the afternoon with them.  All of the joy that just radiates from them puts a smile on your face!

Bent Family – It was great meeting you all today!!
